Jade Forest is an Atlanta-based, New Orleans native who brings real perspectives and real stories to listeners through her music. Although she has deeply southern roots, she considers herself a student of music. She is sonically inspired by a variety of influences from the Lauryn Badus to the Kendrick Aubrey Coles or the aunt who sings at church to all the sounds you may hear at a second line, all of these frequencies help to form her artistic expression and she takes significant measures to remain versatile while remaining committed to her sound as an artist and a songwriter. After releasing singles from her first EP, Reign Forest, she was able to secure various touring opportunities. Her first tour, The Padded Tour with DJ Waffles, took place in February 2022 where she performed in cities like NYC, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit, and more! She has also created a regional buzz by performing and curating her own concerts in Atlanta, Birmingham, and South Carolina at venues and events such as BET Weekend Experience, A3C, Space 2, Waterloo Sunset Records, Morris Brown College (Homecoming), 800 East Studios, and more! Her live renditions allow an addition of dimension and complexity to her artistry. Music is her medium. People will always be at the forefront of her inspiration.
